Washing
If you're lucky enough to have a washing machine with a large drum, you can wash your cotton knit weighted blanket at home, otherwise, we recommend leaving it with the laundering professionals. This will help to maximise the lifespan of your blanket.

Our knit cotton blanket is durable, but life and spills happen. Just get it in the wash as soon as you can to avoid permanent staining. Sharp claws may cause snags, so we recommend keeping away from even the cutest pets!"

How does a weighted blanket work?
Our cotton knit weighted blanket works by applying weight and pressure to your body. Experts call this deep pressure touch, which reduces anxiety by calming over-stimulated minds and bodies. What weight should I choose?
Ideally, your cotton knit weighted blanket should be 8-12% of your body weight. As a guide, if you weigh less than 85kgs, we recommend our 6kg cotton knit weighted blanket and if you weigh over 85kgs, our 7kg blanket. You can also fold the blanket over to increase the weight. If your blanket is too heavy for your weight, you may struggle to get under it (or out of it!).

Our weighted blankets are designed for use by one person at a time. You can use your blanket to relax on the sofa, but our blankets are designed to sleep under for maximum benefit. The pressure is known to calm the nervous system, trigger natural chemicals like serotonin, and reduce stress. So we'd say that's a pretty good excuse to get cosy!

Kids & Pets
Our adult weighted blankets are designed to be heavy and are unsuitable for pets or young children, so make sure you keep an eye on kids and Scruffy!
